NoCringo is operated by Profinado Labs Inc. This Privacy Policy explains what information we process when you use the NoCringo mobile app, why we process it, and what choices you have.
1. Scope
This policy applies to the NoCringo mobile app and related backend services that support message analysis, rewrite suggestions, and subscription access checks.
2. Information we process
Depending on how you use the app, we may process:
- Message content you submit for analysis (for example, text you paste or type in the app).
- Technical identifiers needed for app functionality, such as a device token and platform.
- Subscription metadata used to determine paid access, such as provider (Apple or Google), plan, status, product ID, and expiry information.
- Service operation data such as request timestamps, status, latency, and error codes for reliability and abuse prevention.
- Contact information and message content you send to support (for example, your email address and support request details).
3. How we use information
- To provide message analysis and AI-assisted rewrite suggestions you request.
- To maintain and enforce free/paid access limits and verify subscription status.
- To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve app reliability.
- To respond to support requests and account/data deletion requests.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
4. AI and service providers
To deliver core features, we use third-party service providers such as hosting, database, and AI model providers. These providers may process submitted message content, technical identifiers, and service operation data on our behalf only as needed to provide services to us. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Sharing of information
We may share information:
- With service providers that help us operate the app and backend infrastructure.
- With Apple App Store or Google Play systems as needed for subscription validation.
- When required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and service integrity.
We do not sell personal data and we do not share personal data for third-party advertising.
6. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain subscription and usage records, resolve disputes, investigate abuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not use one fixed retention period for all data; retention varies by data type and operational need.
7. Account and data deletion
NoCringo currently uses a device-based identity model. You can request deletion in the app using the account deletion flow. When you use the account deletion flow, we delete or de-identify analysis history and subscription-related records associated with your device-based account, except where retention is required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
8. Your choices and rights
- You can choose not to submit text for analysis.
- You can stop using the app at any time.
- You can manage and cancel paid subscriptions through Apple App Store or Google Play.
- You can request support, access, or deletion help by contacting us.
- Depending on your location, you may have additional privacy rights under applicable law.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no system can be guaranteed fully secure.
10. International data transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where this happens, we use reasonable safeguards appropriate for service operation.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date indicates when this version became effective.
